Persian cats are thoroughbred and purebred animals. This breed is one of the most favourite breed and belongs to the oldest purebred breeds of cats at all.
These cats were overspreaded over Europe maybe from Iran, Armenia, Turkey or Iraq, but people generally regard England as their homeland.
Persian cats with short hair are exotic cats. They exist in all colour varieties as persian cats.
In FIFe it is allowed to crossbreed exotic and persian cats and the both breeds can occur in a litter after those parents.
